HCSO: Drunken driver responsible for motorcyclist's death

HOUSTON The accident happened around 11pm Saturday on F.M. 1960 at Ella.

Officials said the motorcyclist was traveling west on F.M. 1960, The suspect tried to turn left into a parking lot, pulling in front of the motorcycle in his Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

The motorcycle slammed into the side of the Monte Carlo, causing the rider -- who had no helmet -- to go flying.

Emergency officials transported the rider to Houston Northwest Medical where he later died.

The driver of the car failed an alcohol test and was arrested. According to police, he faces an intoxication manslaughter charge.
