Plane with engine problem returns to O'Hare

CHICAGO, IL Chicago Department of Aviation spokeswoman Karen Pride says the flight returned to the airport around 8:50 p.m. Thursday, more than 30 minutes after the scheduled departure listed on American Airlines' website. The flight was headed to Fargo, N.D.

American Eagle is an American Airlines regional jet.

American Airlines spokesman Jim Faulkner told the Chicago Tribune that a cockpit indicator informed the pilot of an issue with the air compression of one of the plane's engines.
