HOUSTON
On Thursday, the HISD board of trustees approved a preliminary redistricting plan to adjust the boundary lines following a shift of population within its district.
The district, which used information gathered by the US Census, says the plan is a starting point but still requires public input.
Below is a list of public hearings the school district has scheduled to discuss the changes:
