The mother of a 12-year-old Dallas boy has filed a complaint saying other students taped his face, bound him to a chair in class and beat him as a teacher did nothing. Dallas Independent School District spokesman Jon Dahlander says the incident is under investigation. He says the substitute teacher will no longer be employed by DISD.

Keneshia Richardson believes her son was targeted because he's in remedial classes.

The mother told The Dallas Morning News that four students on Monday went into her son's science classroom at Storey Middle School, taped him to a chair and also taped his nose and mouth areas.

Richardson, who complained Wednesday, says a girl helped free her son as the alleged attackers fled. No details were released about injuries to the boy.
