Woman injured in apparent drive-by shooting

A woman is in the hospital after she was the victim of a drive-by shooting in Fort Bend County.

A woman is in the hospital after she was injured during a drive-by shooting last night. It happened around 9:30pm in Fort Bend County on Greenleaf Lodge near Kashmere Spring. According to witnesses, someone in a black 4-door passenger vehicle opened fire on a home and a 24-year-old woman inside was hit. The victim suffered two gunshot wounds to the upper torso area. She was transported to Memorial Hermann Medical Center where she is listed in stable condition. At least two homes were struck by bullets.
