Cy-Fair volunteer firefighter injured battling fire

HOUSTON That fire started late last night at the Steeplecrest apartments on Jones and West Road. Investigators say the fire started in an attic space above a second floor apartment. The injured firefighter was transported to a nearby hospital with an unknown injury.

The cause of that fire is under investigation.
