Town hall meetings to prepare residents for wildfires

The Texas Forest Service is unveiling its Ready! Set! Go! Personal wildfire action plan at a series of town hall meetings in Montgomery County.

Town hall meetings will be hosted by the Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office, along with the TFS and area fire departments, next week for residents concerned about the current wildfire conditions and continuing drought.

A town hall meeting hosted by the South Montgomery County Fire Department, is set for 7pm Thursday at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church -- 26569 Hanna Road in Conroe.
