One man killed in drive-by shooting in SW Houston

HOUSTON It happened around 9:30pm on Rampart and Gulfton. Police say two men were walking down the sidewalk when a car drove up and someone inside started unloading bullets. One man was shot twice and died later at the hospital. The other man was not hit.

The victim, Jonathan Hernandez, 24, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses stated the suspects were last seen in a dark-colored vehicle, traveling southbound on Rampart from Gulfton.
