Driver who hit deputy constable's car charged with DWI

HOUSTON Eduardo Palacios is charged with intoxication assault. Investigators say he slammed into the back of Deputy Leigh Nicely's patrol car as she was stopped on the Katy Freeway, writing a ticket Wednesday morning. Niecely was taken to the hospital with back and knee injuries.

Palacios is being held without bond, and is expected in court tomorrow.
