We have a developing story involving an alleged drug-smuggling ring involving airport baggage handlers in Houston.

The ABC station in Detroit says federal agents arrested 12 people, broke up two drug-smuggling rings and seized suitcases full of marijuana and cocaine.

Agents say baggage handlers in Jamaica and Houston sent drugs in suitcases and put tags on them with the names of real passengers.

Agents say baggage handlers in Detroit would then sneak the bags of drugs out of the airport.
