Witnesses say the suspect drove up and stopped in the road. Allen approached the SUV on foot and argued with the driver. The driver then pulled out a gun and shot Allen once, killing him.
Witnesses say the killer escaped in a white Ford Edge, and may be wheelchair-bound. Deputies determined the Ford Edge was a rented vehicle and displayed Texas license plate #BF1P512. The Ford Edge has been entered as a 'wanted felony vehicle.' Deputies say the driver should be considered armed and dangerous.
