HOUSTON
The Texans will again open up the regular season by hosting division rival Indianapolis at Reliant Stadium. That game is scheduled for noon on September 11. Although the team does not have a Monday Night Football game this regular season, they will play in Indianapolis on Thursday Night Football on December 22.
Other home games include welcoming the Steelers, Browns, Raiders, Falcons, Panthers and Jaguars. Their bye week is November 20.
Houston closes out the season with a home game against the Titans on New Year's Day.

The Texans hosted the Colts to open last season and the team notched a victory, finishing with a 6-10 record.
According to NFL.com, the team has the 10th toughest schedule in the league. The Texans 2011 opponents had a 132-124 record last season.
The team released its preseason schedule last week (specific dates and times to be released at a later date):
Monday, August 15: vs. New York Jets (ESPN), 7 pm
August 19-21: vs. New Orleans Saints (ABC13), TBA
