Ex-owners of Otto's BBQ sue real estate agent

HOUSTON

Marcus and June Sofka say David Cook didn't tell them about various offers on their property on Memorial Drive in Houston.

One of the offers was for $108 a square foot from Ponderosa Land Development.

They say instead, he kept pushing offer by his friend, who he said was going to make an offer but neve did.

Eventually the real estate market tanked and the Sofkas sold the property with another agent for $38 per square foot to Ponderosa.

The Sofkas are now suing Cook for a number of things including fraud and breach of contract.
