Man shot while watching basketball game

HOUSTON The man was sitting on the hood of a car at Dow Park watching the game when a man walked up to and shot him around 9pm. Another person watching the basketball game ran after the shooter. The shooter eventually disappeared.

The man who was shot was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in serious condition. Police are not speculating on a motive for the shooting.
