Funerals to be held today for coach, teacher killed

HOUSTON Trevor White's funeral was held at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church in Richmond. The 39-year-old was the head football coach at George Ranch High School in Lamar Consolidated ISD and had previously worked at Alief Taylor.

White was found shot to death at a motel room in Rosenberg along with co-worker Destiny Pickett and her estranged husband.

Pickett's funeral was at 2pm Thursday at the Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. The 39-year-old was an instructional coordinator at George Ranch High School. Investigators believe Pickett's estranged husband, Clifford Pickett, was the gunman. His funeral is Saturday.
