Three bodies found in Rosenberg hotel

ROSENBERG, TX

Police say just before 5pm Friday, they were dispatched to a hotel along Highway 59 near Highway 36 in regards to a disturbance call. When they arrived, they found a violent scene -- the bodies of a man and a woman outside a room the body of another man inside. All had been shot to death.

Rosenberg Police Department from Lt. Colin Davidson said a gun was found at the scene and the incident is looking like a double murder and suicide. The man whose body was found inside the room is believed to be the shooter.

"That's what we believe at this time, but until we are able to contact the next of kin and other family members, we can't confirm that," Davidson said. "At this time, there's nothing to lead us to believe that this is a drug-related issue or anything like that."

The identities of the victims haven't been released, but all three victims are from the Houston area, he said.

They aren't looking for any suspects, but an investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Rosenberg Police Department at 832-595-3710.
