A woman told jurors in the Texas sexual abuse trial of an elderly Hindu guru that he groped her when she was a girl. Testimony continues in the San Marcos trial of 82-year-old Prakashanand Saraswati.

The spiritual leader of Barsana Dham is facing 20 counts of indecency with a minor by sexual contact. He allegedly groped two girls more than 15 years ago.

A 31-year-old sister of one of the alleged victims testified Wednesday that the guru, known as Shree Swamiji, also abused her and put his hand up her shirt when she was 14.

The Austin American-Statesman reports that prosecutor Amy Lockhart, in opening statements, said the parents knew their girls were being groped but didn't protect them.

Defense attorney Jeff Kearney says there's no evidence of alleged abuse.
