Ref who worked Super Bowl back home in Sugar Land

Sugar Land's Walt Anderson is back at home after appearing in the most watched TV show in the history.

Anderson served as head referee in Sunday's Super Bowl game. More than 162 million viewers hung on Anderson's every word. The Packers win over the Steelers won't be remembered for any bad calls and that's exactly how Anderson and his crew wanted it.

"Nobody's talking about officiating Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday and for us that means it was a job well done. That's what we want. We don't want anybody focused on, well that call was a poor call, shouldn't have been made," said Anderson.

He said working the Super Bowl is just like any other game though he says the pregame was a little hectic.

We'll have more from Anderson coming up on Eyewitness News at 6pm today.
