Thanks for your help with our ice storm coverage

Winter storms are rare in southeast Texas, but we had one on Thursday and Friday. Our Eyewitness News crews spread out across the region to bring you back images and reports from as many spots as we could. But southeast Texas is a big area and we can't be everywhere, so we called out to you for help. And you responded in a big way.

Over the course of a couple of days, you sent us more than 2,500 photos and videos, and we want to say thanks. With your help, we were able to provide more images of the freeze in the Houston area than anyone else.

For instance, viewer Hugo sent in this video of a science experiment in the freezing weather, while viewer M.A. Charles sent us this clip of kids on a trampoline. We also received many photos, including this fountain, sent in by Shannon H., and a great shot of a cow freezing from Brenham.

We've posted other videos we received above, but there are more. Here is a link to all of the photos you've sent in, and here's a link to video.

And remember, whenever you see news happening, be part of the Eyewitness News team. Send your iWitness photos and videos to us at
