The all clear has been given after an incident near the Texas A&M University campus involving an armed suspect. According to the Code Maroon website at 9:38am, a 'Code Maroon' advisory was issued, and the all clear was given at 10:07am, when the suspect was taken into police custody.

The first Code Maroon alert issued described the suspect as a heavy black female, wearing a white shirt, purple shorts and a hairnet, last seen near George Bush Drive and Wellborn.

The alert was preceded by an earlier aggravated robbery around 5:30am at the McDonalds on George Bush Drive. When officers arrived on scene, all employees had left the building but it was determined that there was a possibility that the suspect may still be inside. As a result, SWAT was called out to clear the building and streets in the area were blocked for safety purposes. No one was injured during the robbery and detectives have begun their investigation.
