Woman charged in death of missing 12-year-old boy

HOUSTON The Harris County District Attorney's Office told us they have accepted charges of capital murder for Mona Nelson. The DA's Office said they will request no bond.

Nelson, 44, is a family acquaintance who was named a person of interest earlier today. A source close to the investigation told us Nelson was questioned by homicide investigators Wednesday afternoon at police headquarters and was said to cooperate with authorities.

We've learned that some evidence collected at the crime scene possibly linked Nelson to the crime.

Police believe a burned body found Tuesday morning about five miles away from the family apartment on North Shepherd and 43rd Street may actually be that of Jonathan.
