A water main break flooded a few front yards in northwest Houston.

The line broke Sunday afternoon on Thornton near North Shepherd.

About two inches of water covered the side of the road and a couple of nearby houses, city crews were there to fix the leak, and the water didn't damage any property.

It's unknown what caused the break.

The city says it fixed six other water main breaks last night.
