How much will city's drainage fee cost?

HOUSTON Houston Mayor Annise Parker says city officials will be ready to talk about the ordinance and its rates in time for the capital improvement hearings scheduled for January and February. Voters approved proposition one last month. It improves and renews the city's drainage and streets by creating a 125 million dollars pay-as-you-go fund.

It will be paid for by property taxes. Homeowners could pay five to $10 a month.
