Authorities say four people died in the crash. A girl was airlifted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she was in critical condition Sunday morning.
A man who identified himself as the owner of the home but declined to give his name told The Associated Press that no one inside the house was hurt. He says the car "hit a tree and then split in half."
Sgt. Matthew Cody of the Chambersburg Police Department says the county coroner will release the names of the victims after notifying their relatives. An accident reconstruction team is investigating.
