Sheriff's Office donates truckload of toys to needy kids

HOUSTON They're receiving toys donated by employees of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Deputies and Sheriff Adrian Garcia rolled up to the Children's Assessment Center with a big rig filled with toys for the children. Bikes were also on the delivery list.

This is the 16th year the Sheriff's Office has gotten together to help sexually abused children and their families.

"All these toys almost speak exactly and specifically to what kids say would make their Christmas a more special occasion," said Sheriff Garcia.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office donates about 2,000 toys to the center each year.
