Ex-bus monitor pleads guilty to molesting special needs teen

HOUSTON Justin Perez, 22, pleaded guilty Tuesday to indecency with a child, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. He will have to register as a sex offender for life.

The student's father gave a victim impact statement in court, telling Perez, "you are our worst fear."

"I wanted Justin to know he'd stolen the one thing, the one blessing is the innocence those children have and he stole that from my son," said the victim's father.

The father of the victim shook hands with Perez's mother as he left the courtroom. He says it must be hard for her to watch her son go to prison.
