House fire being blamed on unattended stove

HOUSTON It happened around 1:30am at the home on Crisp Wood near Desert Flower. Smoke was coming from the one-story home when firefighters arrived.

Fire crews worked quickly and put out the flames but not before half the kitchen was burned. Luckily no one was hurt.
