Fatal crash shuts down Gulf Freeway

HOUSTON Investigators say the driver of a Ford Explorer failed to see another car and flipped his vehicle trying to avoid it.

The crash ejected both people inside the SUV.

One man did not survive the crash.

The other man who was inside the Explorer was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
