Galveston ushers in holidays with tree lighting

GALVESTON, TX Mayor Joe Jaworski and some special guests will all be at the Hotel Galvez on the Seawall for the event. The annual celebration includes the lighting of a 35 foot Christmas tree and visits from Santa Claus, the Galveston Ballet and the Houston Children's Chorus.

The event goes from 6pm to 8pm. It's free and open to the public.
