The man was trapped inside his car but police were able to pull him out.
Driver critically injured after slamming into light pole
HOUSTON
It happened on FM 1960 near the Tomball Parkway at around 10:30pm. Police say the man lost control of his car and slammed head-on into a wooden electric pole, knocking down a transformer. The accident caused a Boston Market to lose power.
