CONROE, TX --
November is National Adoption Month and local families are opening their hearts to children who need homes. Dozens of children went home to new families in Conroe yesterday. Judge Tracy Gilbert signed papers for 33 foster children to be adopted to 18 families. The youngest child was an infant, while the oldest was 17. Montgomery County agencies say they've sped up the adoption process so that most eligible children are in homes within a year.
