Speed, alcohol may have played role in serious accident

HOUSTON Around 2:30am, police say a man was behind the wheel of this truck on the beltway feeder road near the Southwest Freeway. The driver somehow hit a pole, flipping the truck on its side.

The three people inside were taken to the hospital. All are expected to survive.
