15th Annual Children's Festival in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX This spectacular festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 14, from noon - 5 p.m. Admission to the festival is $8 per person in advance or $10 per person at the door. Children under 2 are admitted free of charge. The daily admission fee includes every show and activity, so parents don't spend the day dealing with tickets, tokens or endless lines.

Put on your dancing shoes and join Angelina Ballerina™ as she dances her way through The Woodlands! Don't miss the opportunity to see the imaginative little mouseling in a special "Dance-Along Story Time" event including a mini-dance performance. It's an exciting, interactive journey through the fascinating world of crime scene investigations with CSI: LIVE! presented by Mad Science®. When a crime is committed at the premiere of a Las Vegas Magic Show, Sydney Mathis and David Hart play the roles of CSI investigators and spring into action. With the help of supervisor Gil Grissom and a room full of audience recruits, they will use their superior logic and forensic know-how to investigate the evidence and test their theories. Join Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience for live music from Louisiana with a focus on the indigenous zydeco music. Audience members can join him on stage for frottoir (rubboard) jams. Of course, no Louisiana experience is complete without those sparkling strands of Mardi Gras beads thrown to audience participants! Watch a favorite childhood story come to life with Hudson Vagabond Puppets' "Ferdinand the Bull," based on the classic tale by Munro Leaf and illustrations by Robert Lawson. It's the story of the bull who wouldn't fight told in a narrated ballet with a larger-than-life bull, masked dancers and specialized mechanical figures. Each scene brings to life one of the pages of the book, and the puppets and scenery are based as closely as possible on the illustrations in the book. See the attached "Children's Festival Performers" for the complete Pepsi Main Stage schedule and more information about each artist.
