Several county judge spots decided by voters

HOUSTON In Harris County, Ed Emmett retained his seat by picking up 64 percent of the vote to defeat challenger Gordon Quan, and in Fort Bend County, Republican Robert Hebert beat out Democrat Rodrigo Carreon for county judge with 60 percent of the vote.

In Montgomery County, incumbent county Judge Republican Alan Sadler will hold onto his seat. He beat Democrat Adrian David Heath, 82 percent to 18 percent.

And in Galveston County, Democratic incumbent James Yarbrough lost his seat to Republican Mark Henry by a little more than 10,000 votes.
