Tractor stolen from charity in Spring

HOUSTON Someone cut the chains to the front gate of Dreamcatcher Stables and took the brand new tractor.

The charity needs the tractor to maintain 98 acres of land.

"Our normal budget is $20,000 and we have had $24,000 worth of equipment stolen or damaged and will have to be repaired," said Sanna Roling with Dreamcatcher Stables. "There's no money for that."

The stable believes somebody must have noticed something as large as a 2008 John Deere tractor being hauled off on greens road in northeast Harris County.

The tractor was taken between three and 7am Sunday morning.
