Man found shot inside vehicle in N. Harris Co.

HOUSTON Details are still pretty sketchy at this point. Sheriff's deputies say just before 3am, they received a 911 call from someone who said they had been shot. Deputies looked along the feeder road of I-45 North and Remington Valley and found a young male alone and unconscious inside a car. He had been shot.

"At this time, we are checking out stories that he was at a club and may have been in an altercation. We don't know the name of that club right now. We are working on that," said Larry Davis with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "We'll notify next of kin and work backwards from there."

Homicide investigators say the man died at the hospital. They also said there was blood found inside the car and on the pavement. They are looking into whether or not the victim was shot somewhere else and was able to drive himself to the location where he was located.

An investigation is underway.
