Officer involved in chase, shooting in Ft. Bend Co.

HOUSTON It happened in the town of Kendleton on FM 2919 and spur 541. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened after a police chase. The suspects were involved in two different robberies - one in Stafford, the other in Rosenberg.

From SkyEye HD, you could see a fire that appeared to have broken out at the end of the chase, with part of the grass burned in the area as well as the back of a squad car.

We know a suspect was taken to a hospital by helicopter, but there is no word yet on his condition.
