Houston ranked as one of nation's dumbest cities

HOUSTON The Daily Beast ranks us at the bottom of their new list of the country's 55 smartest cities. Houston gets an IQ rating of 46 points, which is considered limited mental ability.

So how did we get this dubious distinction? The ratings are based on population, size, college degrees and non-fiction book sales.

At least Houston comes in just ahead of Fresno, San Antonio and Las Vegas.
