Police believe the man heard some knocking on his back door and when he opened it, someone shot him twice. Police don't have a motive or suspect. The victim's name has not been released.
Man shot to death after opening back door
HOUSTON
It happened on Anita near Nettleton. Police say the victim just moved into the house two or three months ago. Earlier in the evening, he did have some people over, but investigators say it appears everyone was gone when the man was shot.
