Houston to host federal, local bullying hearing

HOUSTON Officials ranging from state lawmakers to city council members to school board trustees will be there.

Parents of bullied children will speak about the negative impact it's had and plead for help.

The hearing comes just weeks after Cy-Fair eighth grader Asher Brown killed himself. His parents say Asher committed suicide because he couldn't deal with the constant bullying at school.
