Police name suspect in deadly N. Houston shooting

HOUSTON Twenty-two-year-old Charleston Robinson, who's also known as "Charlie Boy," is charged with murder in connection to the September 26 death of Clarence Bullard. Witnesses said they heard several gunshots fired then Bullard collapse by a building at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of West Gulfbank.

A tip to Crime Stoppers later helped detectives identify Robinson as the suspect.

Robinson is known in the area where the shooting occurred and detectives say they believe he shot Bullard as means of retaliation for a previous incident.
