Police say the owners of a truck left it running while they ran inside a gas station and when they came outside, their truck was gone. Officers spotted the truck a short time later.
"Officers were in the area of Madison High School when they observed a vehicle run a stop sign and almost strike a police car. They then attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to stop," said Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department.
After a short chase the two people inside the truck stopped and jumped out. One hid in a backyard but both were arrested in the end.
