Fire destroys part of apartment complex

HOUSTON It happened at the Saint James Place apartments on Fondren and Wanda. Crews found an upstairs unit filled with flames when they arrived. Firefighters pulled a second alarm and managed to put the fire out in about 20 minutes.

Eight units in all were damaged, displacing seven people.
