Police: Burglars tried to escape through wall

HOUSTON Just after 6am Monday, a burglary alarm sounded from a stereo store on Airline near East Tidwell. When Houston police arrived, they saw two men inside the store trying to go through a common wall leading to a store next door.

Police believe the suspects initially had entered the store through a back door. The duo was scraped up from their attempt to break through the wall when they were arrested.

Both suspects face a charge of burglary of a building.
