Police seek suspect in hit-and-run death

HOUSTON On Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at around 6:00am, Stacie Sorters, 36, was in the 5100 block of I-45 North walking on the west side of the inbound lanes. She was hit by a car and the impact threw her into the second lane of the freeway. Sorters was killed on impact.

Only one car stopped and reported they had hit something which later turned out to be Sorters' body as she lay on the freeway. At this time there is no information on the car that hit her or any witnesses to the crash.
