HOUSTON
The Highlanders, ranked as the ninth best team in Texas, got out to an early lead and cruised to a 35-0 win over Atascocita to stay unbeaten. For the Eagles, they fall to 2-3. Saturday's game was not only Atascocita's third straight loss, but it was also the third straight game in which they haven't scored.
Both teams not only had to battle each other, but also the elements Saturday. A thunderstorm moved into the Humble area during the halftime show, forcing district officials to clear the field and the stands. The weather delay lasted roughly an hour.
