Deputy on motorcycle hit escorting funeral procession

HOUSTON Police say the deputy was on his motorcycle at the intersection of Wheatley and Esther in northwest Houston when he was hit by a car. The crash sent the deputy into a ditch. He's expected to be OK.

The driver police say hit the deputy was not hurt. Police say charges against the driver could be filed.
