New ordinance may ban vendors from TX City Dike

TEXAS CITY, TX The area is now expected to draw in tourists and the Texas City Commission is considering a plan to ban vendors from the five mile stretch. Supporters say the move would protect established businesses along the waterway.

The commission is set to discuss the measure tonight at 5pm at city hall.
