Crooks used a forklift to rip an ATM from a drive-thru lane early this morning. It happened around 3am at the Chase Bank on Almeda near Calumet in southeast Houston. Police arrived to find a few wires and a hole in the ground where the machine used to be.

The thieves apparently hauled away the ATM in a truck and left the forklift and keys behind. The bank is reviewing surveillance video.
