Copper theft suspects lead police on chase

HOUSTON Police officers say they spotted the suspects' truck near a building on South Post Oak around 6am. The suspects drove off and took the West Loop all the way to I-45, exiting at Tidwell with police in pursuit.

When they got trapped on a dead end street, the men jumped from the SUV and ran. The passenger escaped. The driver was arrested.

Police said they found bolt cutters and wiring inside the vehicle.
